The launch of Zone Startups Calgary marks an exciting day for Stream! As one of four Calgary businesses in the accelerator program, Stream now has access to the tools and support that will expedite our growth.
Stream will benefit from GE’s global market reach, innovations, and product and service teams, as well as Predix, GE’s software platform for scalable industrial enterprise solutions. We will also leverage the methodology Ryerson Futures uses to operate accelerator programs in Toronto and Mumbai, which have seen more than 100 companies raise over $160 million in venture capital over the past three years.
With speeches from Elyse Allan, President & CEO GE Canada and Calgary's very own Nenshi, Startup Zone Calgary launched with a bang, igniting an exciting new era of innovation in the development of Industrial Internet and energy-related startups.
Stream is excited for this new chapter, and the opportunity for growth this collaboration will bring. As Elyse Allan said,
